Thermo King’s We Move Food program is designed to increase access to fresh healthy food by reducing waste and supporting nutrition education for families and communities that struggle with hunger and food instability. To date, more than $550,000 has been donated by Thermo King dealers, Thermo King Corporate and the Trane Technologies Foundation to provide support of hunger relief programs aligned with the We Move Food mission.
We know that everyone has something to offer in our nationwide effort to stop hunger. We Move Food is designed to be customized to meet the needs of our partner food banks, along with our Thermo King dealers and employees’ giving and volunteer goals.
Through a strategic partnership with Feeding America, we provide grant funds and discounts on Thermo King solutions to more than 200 food banks in the U.S. Additionally, Thermo King and its more than 180 North American dealerships participate in volunteer opportunities to sort, pack, and distribute nutritious food nationwide. These philanthropic efforts help to address the daily barriers of those experiencing hunger.
