Engineers Week 2022
Thermo King celebrates with 25 new U.S. Patents
Thermo King is proud to celebrate Engineers Week and its theme Reimagining the Possible – something our teams have been doing since 1938 when Frederick McKinley Jones first reimagined how to safely transport temperature-sensitive goods!
We know Fred would be proud of how far Thermo King has come and of the innovations that continue to be inspired by our amazing team of engineers. In 2021, our team added 25 new U.S. patents that are improving our products for customers both in the Americas and EMEA regions. The inventions range from methods and systems for energy management of a transport climate control system to methods and systems for determining unit shutdown based on system operational parameters.
“I congratulate everyone with a new patent. This demonstrates a talented team’s commitment to innovation that is consistent with our heritage and leading the industry in providing solutions for our customers,” said Aftab Khan, vice president, Engineering & Technology for Thermo King Americas.
Congratulations to all Thermo King innovators whose names appeared on the most recent patents!
