Thermo King Donates TriPac™ System to Back On The Road™ Program

(Minneapolis - March 5, 2009) - Thermo King Corporation is proud to be a sponsor of Arrow Truck Sales Back on the Road™ 2009 campaign, presented by Volvo Trucks North America. Now in its second year, Back on the Road is an initiative designed to benefit a deserving trucker in need of a truck and a job. As a sponsor, Thermo King has donated a TriPac™ Hybrid Auxiliary Idle Reduction and Temperature Management System. Joining the 2009 campaign is country music star Aaron Tippin who has dedicated his new album, In Overdrive, to truckers.

Beginning in November 2008, Arrow solicited stories from truckers across the nation who lost their truck and their livelihood through unfortunate circumstances beyond their control. Approximately 150 nominations were received. The trucker whose story is selected will receive a 2006 Volvo VNL 670, courtesy of Volvo Trucks North America, a one-year work agreement with Heartland Express, and other great services and products, including the Thermo King TriPac APU system.

"We are happy to participate in this great program and help a deserving trucker get 'back on the road," said Tom Kampf, TriPac product manager. "In these tough economic times, it's nice to be part of an industry story that has a happy ending."

Thermo King's TriPac system provides cab comfort and accessory power to drivers without idling the tractor engine, saving big money on fuel and reducing harmful emissions. The system also can provide battery charging and engine block heating, and is backed by the largest service network in North America.

Arrow will announce the winner at the March Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) in Louisville, Kentucky, where the truck and prizes will be presented. The winner will then head out on the road and provide regular updates of trucker life that will be posted on the Back on the Road website.
