Reed Hooks Named Manager of Business Development for Thermo King

(Minneapolis - February 24, 2009) - Thermo King Corporation has named Reed Hooks business development manager for the company's Shuttle, School Bus and Coach businesses. Hooks, who joined Thermo King in 2007 as a district service manager, reports to Martin Duffy, general manager, HVAC Americas.

In his new position, Hooks is responsible for developing and implementing a strategy for growth in these segments. He will work closely with the entire corporate bus team and Thermo King's world class dealer network. "I'm looking forward to the challenges of creating a model that is more conducive to serving our customers and tapping into the growth potential this business offers," said Hooks.

Hooks has 10 years engineering experience and more than 20 years in the transit market - from both a user and manufacturer perspective. "It's a great fit because Reed understands the business and will be able to work from a 'customer needs' perspective, while understanding the technical components needed to succeed," explained Duffy.
